PLEDGE YOUR BIRTHDAY TO US

You can choose to celebrate your birthday with the kids and demand for gifts for them from your loved ones. Spending some hours with us on your birthday is a big way of showing love to the kids around us. You can also demand gifts from your loved ones for our children.

HELP SPONSOR OUR SEMINARS

We organize seminars occassionaly for the widows and their children. You can choose to sponsor our seminars. It costs $60 to sponsor a seminar.

SPONSOR A SKILLS TRAINING WORKSHOP

You can choose to sponsor an entire sills training workshop for widows and their children. The skills training workshop is aimed at teaching the unemployed widows and their children skills which would eneble to to be self-employed and cater for their needs. It costs about $500 to sponsor a skills training session.

SET UP A BUSINESS FOR THEM

You can decide to help the unemployed widows among us set up businesses for themselves. Many of them are unemployed and setting a business for them is one way of helping them move out of poverty. You would be eradicating prostitution, child labour, early marriage and human trafficking through your sponsorship of one or two widows to set up business entrepreneur. Some of our clients are widows, whose husbands were killed by boko Haram and they migrated from the northern part of the country to the south-east and starting life is difficult for them. It costs about $1000 to set up a business for a widow.

BE A VOLUNTEER DOCTOR OR LAWYER WITH US

DePaul Hope Social Center, generally, tries to empower the vulnerable and marginalized group, as our clients include women who are trying to rise beyond poverty line in their businesses, widows and their children. We organize free medical checks for them from time to time. Join our team of doctors and nurses to impact on lives and make the society a better place for them. Some widows had their late husbands’ properties seized by their husbands’ relatives at the death of their husbands. These widows are poor and need lawyers who could handle some of the unlawful confiscation of their late husbands’ properties by their husbands’ relatives for them. Widows lose their homes, possessions, livelihood, as well as their children to their husband's family.

BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS

If you are interested in changing harmful traditional practices and abuse of widows, or providing services for widows and their children; join us. You can join us in any part of the world and advocate for the welfare of the widows, the marginalized and the down trodden in our society. Tell our stories to concerned groups, organizations and individuals. You would then be an agent of social change by connecting us to concerned people and speaking for the widows and their children.
